The snorkeling and diving is world class with their turquoise lagoons and abundance of marine life. The main island of Rarotonga offers everything you need for a tropical island escape, but we also recommend a few days on the atoll of Aitutaki, which is just a short flight away from Rarotonga for that wow factor! If an active day or two away from the ocean is of interest to you, then the lush and mountainous interior offers people some fantastic hiking opportunities also.
