An overland trip of Canada is a must for everyone at some point in their lives we think. Canada can be visited any time of the year depending upon your plans; however, the summer and shoulder season months are generally the best for natural wonders such as Niagara Falls, Rocky Mountains and their crystal-clear lakes. Canada also offers some fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities such as the possibility to witness Bears, Moose, Elk and Orcas all within their natural environments. If you are wanting to travel overland in style, then we would recommend the iconic Rocky Mountaineer train from Banff to Vancouver, or this can be taken in reverse.
